The pattern in the 6 times table
Each answer is 6 more than the one before, so the 6 times table is counting up in 6s. And because 6 × a equals a × 6, every answer here appears again in the other number's table — learning this one is really learning half of twenty tables.
Frequently asked questions
How do I print a multiplication chart?
Choose Colour, Ink-saver or Blank, then press Print this chart. The chart prints on one page on A4 and on Letter, and the page keeps nothing else — no header, no navigation, no advertising.
What is the difference between colour, ink-saver and blank?
Colour prints the chart as you see it. Ink-saver drops the background tints and keeps the lines, which uses far less ink. Blank prints the row and column headers with the answers removed, so it works as a practice sheet.
Can I get a chart bigger than 12 by 12?
Yes. The size control offers 10, 12, 15 and 20, and the link accepts any size up to 30 a side — for example size=20 for a 20 by 20 chart, or size=12x20 for twelve rows and twenty columns.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The chart keeps its row and column headers in view and pans inside its own frame, so the page itself never scrolls sideways.
How do I use it to test myself?
Press Hide and test me. The answers disappear and the headers stay; tap a cell to reveal just that answer. Nothing is recorded and nothing is sent to us.
