Vicaya pages are written to help a reader understand a calculation, not to push a product or imply that one answer fits everyone. The site avoids claims that a calculator cannot prove from the inputs and formulas on the page.

People-first explanations

Calculator copy is written around the question a visitor is trying to answer: what number matters, what inputs move it, what assumptions sit underneath it, and what the estimate leaves out.

No fabricated precision

If a result has real schedule data, Vicaya may show a balance chart. If it has real component parts, Vicaya may show a donut chart. If the calculator does not produce those pieces, the page stays with text and metrics rather than inventing a visual breakdown.

Updates

Calculator pages are updated when formulas, fields, route structure, or explanatory content materially changes. Legal and trust pages carry explicit last-updated dates. A rebuild alone is not treated as an editorial update.

Sourcing

Where a page states a rule rather than a formula — a slab rate, a statutory threshold, a contribution ceiling — that rule is traced to the body responsible for setting it, and the page names it. For India that means the Income Tax Department, the Ministry of Labour and Employment, EPFO, ESIC, and, for professional tax, the state issuing the notification. A rule that cannot be traced that way is labelled unconfirmed on the page rather than being rounded to something plausible.

Estimates are labelled as estimates

Every result carries the boundary of what it knows. Where an input has been derived rather than entered, or a rule behind it is unconfirmed, the result says so. This is deliberate even though a hedge reads as less authoritative than a bare number: a figure presented with more confidence than its inputs support is the failure mode that matters most on a site people use before signing something.

No commercial influence on results

Vicaya does not sell leads, rank lenders, or accept payment to change what a calculator returns. No advertising or affiliate link is active on the site as of the date above. If one is added later it will be disclosed, and it will still have no effect on any calculated figure or on the order in which calculators are listed.

Corrections

When a rule changes or an error is found, the calculation is corrected at its engine, the test vectors covering it are updated so the old behaviour cannot return unnoticed, and the page's last-updated date moves. Pages are not backdated, and a rebuild with no content change does not refresh a date.

Advice boundary

Vicaya does not provide financial, legal, tax, investment, payroll, or lending advice. Pages should make assumptions visible and point readers back to official providers or professionals for decisions. Where a page shows a verdict or signal beside a figure, it describes a tradeoff in the numbers entered, never an approval, a rejection, or a recommendation to act.
